This is buyer expense that usually costs between $350 and $450.

The appraisal is ordered by your lender. Depending on your lender you may have to pay for the appraisal up front or at closing.

If your appraisal is returned at a value less than the agreed upon sale price, we will negotiate a change of price with the seller or cancel the contract.
