Termite certificate is obtained from pest control company.

If the buyer's mortgage company is requiring a termite certificate, the buyer may request you provide one at closing. If this was agreed upon in the original contract, we would request a pest control company come out to inspect the property. A termite certificate usually costs between $50 and $100 and we would bring this document with us to close. In the event the buyer did not ask you to provide this document, they may have a termite inspection done during the agreed upon inspection period.
